Our Projects

Landfill Gas Migration Barrier

Project: Landfill Gas Migration Barrier Location: Ecowaste Landfill, Richmond BC
GNH Consulting provided design drawings and tender documents for the installation of a Linear Low Density Polyethlylene (LLDPE) membrane to block harmful landfill gases from entering a municipal right-of-way at the site. GNH Consulting provided project management and quality assurance/quality control for duration of the work.

The project was completed in multiple sections due the size of the construction area. Four sections were installed in 2012 and 2013. As of June 2014, construction began on four more sections which GNH Consulting is managing.

Leachate Collection System Upgrades

Project: Leachate Collection System Upgrades Location: Ecowaste Landfill, Richmond BC
GNH Consulting provided designs, tender documents and construction management services for leachate collection system upgrades completed at the site in 2012 and 2013. A new perforated High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline and collection trench was installed to improve leachate collection and conveyance. A new LLDPE liner was also installed to improve leachate containment for the future life of the landfill.
